IP Address

We have checked with our developer and the following is what he said about capturing IP addresses:

“The web servers we run on do log IP addresses, but we do not use that data, and it’s not tied to any specific data file or user name. To put it another way, we know that a machine with a certain IP address visited our web site, but we don’t know what user that was or what data files that machine accessed.”
